BENJAMIN DAUER - BASS IMPROVISATION 11/27/2011

Inspired by the sunshine and slowly moving clouds, I shot some video and then recorded an ambient improvisation on my 6-string bass to accompany the footage.

Strings and Grills

I just changed the strings on my Ken Smith 6 string bass last night. It had been a while. I only change my strings once every year or so. This particular time it had been just over 2.5 years.

I’m old-school like that. I like my bass strings well-seasoned, like an old grill.
